Protests and Weekly results
Protests: July 19th - A bum steer (bad advice) was rejected as it is not a pig in a poke (hastily accepted advice)
July 12th - Both protests were accepted re largest bear (bad question)- otherwise pretty good again
July 5th - A bit of a screw up on the Argentine flag (no sun) - otherwise we did pretty good
June 28th - No major problems.
June 21st - A tech glitch put the music out of sequence, but otherwise we were OK
June 14th - Peke the dog was accepted as a homophone, that game ends tied,
Minor problems with the famous last words round were equally misleading for all
June 7th - D'oh don't do - (for doe) a few dictionaries call it slang/informal
May 31st - Scores were brutal - Taye Diggs was correct (not R Gere),
May 17th - No Protests, a pretty good night overall (except for "Boats on Film" copy screw up)
May 10th - No major problems but the overall average was too low
May 3rd - Pretty good night, I generously accepted putz for the Yiddish round
